Hey There!

I am Hudson Tinn and I am participating in Dance Marathon to raise funds for my local Children's Miracle Network Hospital to help provide life-saving care to kids in need. This will be my 4th year doing Dance Marathon at Windermere High School. Over the past 4 years, we have raised over $300,00! This year, I have the pleasure of serving on my school's Dance Marathon Executive Board once again! It has been a very eye opening and heart warming experience to help these kids, but now I get to go a bit deeper and not just help fundraise, but help set up my school's event night which is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Basically, the money we collect from everyone goes directly to the Winnie Palmer and Arnold Palmer hospitals and go to help research, child life care, NICU/PICU enhancements, premature diapers, and child life specialists.

My "why" is about my mom. My mom was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in my freshman year of high school. It was a sad and hard time for my family and I, but I knew I had to do something more than just staying still. So, I looked into Dance Marathon at Windermere High School. I went to the event night in my freshman year, and I instantly fell in love with this cause. Although my mom never got treated at the Winnie Palmer and Arnold Palmer hospitals, I still felt the need to fundraise for this cause because if it weren't for the equipment and the people in the hospitals she was treated at, they wouldn't have been able to help her out and be where she is today. She was a strong woman and even going through chemo, she always had a smile on her face and would never give up, even when times got rough.

Now that you know a little bit about me and my "why", I hope you consider donating to my donor drive. It would mean the world to me and these kids in need. Because of COVID-19 and the new DELTA variant on the loose, the kids need our help more than ever! I can't do this without you, and neither can these kids. Thank you so much! Windermere is FTK all DM day!
