Unite to Change child health.

I am participating in Ball State University Dance Marathon (BSUDM) for my fourth and final year! BSUDM is a year-long fundraising and awareness effort that culminates in a marathon event for the kids at Riley Hospital for Children.

Being a part of Ball State University Dance Marathon has been the most defining part of my college career. BSUDM has given me a new perspective on the world and my role in it. I have been able to see first hand the impact that love and empathy has on a kiddo or family at Riley Hospital. They are some of the strongest people I have ever met, and they continue to inspire me to advocate even more for what we do. I have also grown as a leader, more than I ever thought possible, through my experiences serving within this organization. BSUDM has given me so much, and now it's time to give back.

Why give to BSUDM?

All proceeds will help fund the Magic Castle Cart, a cart rolled around Riley Hospital delivering toys, games, and stuffed animals to all of the kiddos and Palliative Care Team which provides support for patients and families dealing with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. This group focuses on the quality of life for their patients and families while providing a holistic care for the mind, body, and spirit of the patient.

My DM Experience

Throughout these past four years, I have grown through the leadership opportunities I've had within BSUDM.  This year, I am returning as the President for BSUDM 2021. With this role comes many challenges that I am excited to take head on! I lead the Executive Board, which consists of 21 Directors and 4 Vice Presidents. They are the most passionate and dedicated group of change-makers I have yet to meet, and I am blessed to have the opportunity to lead them through this year. 

In the past 3 years, I have personally raised $6,723 For The Kids.  This year, my goal is to raise $3,277 to have raised a combined total of $10,000 For The Kids throughout the past four years.  I greatly appreciate your generous gifts to help me reach my goal.
