This year, the South Deanery Dance Marathon will take place on May 2nd, 2021. We hope you consider joining the movement that's all for the kids.

The South Deanery Dance Marathon is a program during which students of South Deanery Schools dance for six hours to raise funds to support the kids at Riley Hospital for Children. Our program works in conjunction with Ball State University Dance Marathon. Riley holds a very special place in the hearts of our community. As you may know, we have many children and teenagers in our community that have spent time at Riley. A great example of this are former Roncalli High School graduates Shane Moylan, Madeleine Russell, and Kathleen Soller. These Roncalli Alumni have had strenuous battles with cancer, and through Riley, they are now cancer free! Also, Katie Lynch, a member of Roncalli High School™s class of 2012, has a tremendous impact on the South Deanery Dance Marathon, for she was a patient at Riley Children™s Hospital; unfortunately, Katie passed away from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma during her junior year. Our participants dance to honor Katie, Shane, Madeleine, and Kathleen, as well as Joe Kieffer (RHS ™12), Jacklyn Johnson (RHS ™14), Megan Weisenbach, and Riley Kids everywhere. South Deanery Dance Marathon wants to dance for all of those in our community whom Riley has impacted to show them how much they have inspired us and continue to inspire us every day. The strength and fighting of the Riley children is the driving force behind the work and fundraising of the South Deanery Dance Marathon.

We need you to be a hero for the kids! Join the movement or make a donation today.

Student-Led Movement
