This March, I will stand on my feet for 12 hours as part of Terp Thon, the Miracle Network Dance Marathon at the University of Maryland to benefit Childrenā€™s National! However, these 12 hours represent so much more than just one day. They represent where we have been and where we are going. Terp Thon is going into its 10th year and this community works tirelessly all year to raise funds and awareness for Children's National.

This year, I have the honor to serve as the Fiscal Director for Terp Thon 2019. I am so excited to help better the lives of the patients and families at Children's National. In this picture, I am with two of our Miracle Kids, Brooke and Caitlin. At just two years old, Brooke was diagnosed with acute myeloid Leukemia. Brooke started chemotherapy right away, but the doctors said that a bone marrow transplant was necessary to save her life. Luckily, Caitlin was the perfect match and was more than willing to do anything to save her sister's life. Both of these girls are now getting the happy and healthy childhood they deserve! I am in awe of their strength and determination every single day. They are just one of the many reason why I dedicate so much time and energy to Terp Thon.

Terp Thon is only successful with the help of family and friends. Will you donate to me on behalf of the kids like Brooke and Caitlin?

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and helping make miracles happen!

For The Kids Always and All Ways,

Elizabeth
