I joined Miracle Network Dance Marathon my freshman year of college here at UMass Dartmouth. I am currently in my junior year of college and the President of the organization.
I became involved with MNDM because of my cousin Jesse. At 3 years old, he was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma. He battled cancer for 5 years, and passed away shortly before his 8th birthday in January of 2014. He was treated at Boston Children's Hospital, the hospital that our organization is associated with.
I plan to become a pediatric oncology social worker, as a way to keep Jesse's memory alive. Being a member of Miracle Network Dance Marathon is a great way for me to become involved with the hospital while I am still in college.
My goal is to raise as much money as possible for children just like Jesse - to put a smile on their face while battling injury and illness.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
Spread the word and give kids like Jaden every chance to get better.
