Letter From Simmy
This is my second year on my school's executive committee for Dance Marathon. Every year the University of Florida hosts a Dance Marathon to raise funds for new equipment, toys, and furniture for the children--and their families--who are being treated at our local Children's Miracle Network hospital, UFHealth Shands Children's Hospital. Just recently, the university has recruited about twenty high schools to host miniature Dance Marathons.
Gainesville High School's Dance Marathon is scheduled for March 3, 2017, and it will last for six hours. We dance in celebration for the 80 percent of children who survive, and we dance in honor of the 20 percent of children who do not.
My personal goal is to raise $303.17 for Children's Miracle Network in honor of the date of my school's Dance Marathon, and I am asking you to donate to Gainesville High School's Dance Marathon for Children's Miracle Network.
Donating online is safe and easy. Please click the "support me" option that is near my name, and you will be ready to donate. If there are any technical difficulties, feel free to give your donation to me personally, or contact me via my e-mail address.
I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event. Any contribution will help, and all donations are tax deductible.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
