The University of Oregon Dance Marathon is a student-run organization that fundraises money for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield, OR. This money goes towards buying equipment and supplies for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Units to ensure the children in our own community can receive the cutting edge care they deserve. It is our firm belief that no child should go without quality, accessible health care, and that is exactly what we are working towards. We invite you to join us in our movement. We host one Big Event every year, our Dance Marathon. This year, the event is on March 2nd from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There will be music, dancing, games, prizes, and food provided. You do not need to have any dancing skill, just a desire for fun and a passion for saving lives. By registering for our event on March 2nd, you are committing to saving the lives of children in our community. You are making a difference. This year, we are asking our dancers to fundraise just $36 to support the 36 beds in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at our local Children’s hospital. We have provided you with all the tools necessary to fight for the lives of those 36 babies, and to help our community reach our goal of raising $65,000 for this hospital. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our Dancer Relations Chair, Samantha Whitney, whose contact information is listed above. Thank you in advance for your life-saving support.
