Team Captain Hoppin for Hopkins Baltimore Boogie 2020

Hi everyone!! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

I hope you will consider supporting my participation in the Baltimore Boogie. All contributions will benefit Johns Hopkins Children's Center. Any contribution will help, and all donations are tax deductible. Last year we raised over $40,000, and this year we strive to raise more to make the biggest impact possible.

As a previous patient of this hospital while I was in middle school, I know first hand how important additional funding my philanthropies is. During my stay, I was able to entertain myself by playing on my Xbox in my room and by visiting the art room on my unit; without philanthropy, these types of activities would not be possible. These activities allowed me to be a kid, even during one of the scariest times in my life.

If Dr. Hackam, the surgeon-in-chief, and Dr. Cheng, the pediatrician-in-chief, can support Baltimore Boogie, you can too!

Being a part of the Teen and Children's Council at the Children's Center has been one of the most rewarding experiences. My time as an inpatient and outpatient, in addition to my love of science and helping others, fueled my passion to attend medical school and ultimately become a physician to help others. I am now a first year medical student at Campbell University, and I am grateful to continue supporting Dance Marathon through Baltimore Boogie! Raising money for the Children's Center allows me to be an advocate for my future patients and I would greatly appreciate your support in those efforts.

Donate today to ensure that every kid can be a kid, even while undergoing difficult treatment in the hospital for days or months.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
